I grew up in Massapequa Long Island and my career began in sales at an executive level where I worked with companies for several years in an effort to make them as well as myself some money... After years of freelance writing on the side, I got my big break when ESPN chose me after 6 months of auditions, to be a finalist on their Live TV Show (ESPN Dream Job). I finished 5th in the competition which led to more writing work with the Long Island Press and some sports websites as well as some on-air work on ESPN Radio in NY... Then it was onto MLB.com at the beginning of the 2004 season where I have been ever since. I host "State of the Redsox.com Nation" every week on Redsox.com and "Next Stop Shea" playing on Mets.com and on the scoreboard at Shea before the home games. Since 2006 I've been hosting our brand new MLB.com MIDDAY show and now "The Bottom Line."

Interests? Lets see -- How about sports, more sports, playing my XBOX , playing sports on my XBOX and yes oh yes - music. Add in a couch and that pretty much encompasses the life of Casey Stern.
